Fundación Delia Morán
We believe strongly that private enterprises should share corporate responsibility to better the lives of children who encounter life challenges daily. With our commitment to improving the lives of children, the brands following a Mayan Resorts philosophy have created "Fundación Delia Morán A.C." in the honor of our beloved teacher that dedicated her life to helping children survive in the constant battle our kids face with poverty and ignorance.
In each location where properties are built, shelter homes for children have been established. We help in a variety of ways by donating food, clothing, shelter, education, as well as medical and psychological services. The main goal behind this foundation is to ensure that these children grow up in a healthy environment, while they hone their abilities necessary to become responsible and productive guests of society. We are proud to continue helping children daily, bringing them closer to a better future.
Fundación Mayan Resorts
This non-profit organization, also known as Fundación Mayan, was developed to promote science and culture for the greater good. From discussions of political, economic and social issues impacting our country and nations around the world to promotion of studies and inter-relations between Latin American nations, Fundación Mayan Resorts actively influences the formulation of public policy to strengthen democracy, and promote economic, social and political development in Latin America.
Great Place to Work
The Great Place to Work award was founded in 1991 in the USA with the purpose of evaluating companies that offered their employees much more than just jobs. In 2006, GPTW surveyed over 90% of all employees, within the brands following the Mayan Resorts philosophy, in Vallarta and proudly voted them within the top 100 companies to work for in Mexico. Over 400 corporations competed for these spots. It is a result of many programs in place to make the working environment more than just a place to work. The Mayan Resorts mission is to create communities in which there are many opportunities to develop professionally, while upholding ethical standards and being the best at our individual tasks.

Several brands affiliated to the Mayan Resorts philosophy have been awarded a EarthCheck Certification. This recognition is awarded strictly to companies that operate without harming the environment and follow a series of very strict rules governing electricity, water, maintenance, waste removal, ecosystem, cultures, traditions, disposals, security, and other aspects of a hotel operation, as well as their effect on the surrounding environment.
